Crossing the finish line...

Earlier this month, I made a quiet deal with myself: I let go of one goal so I could give space to another.
Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to take the pressure off. And now, I’m overjoyed to say—I’ve officially completed my coaching diploma!
It’s a surreal milestone. Over the past two years, I’ve studied alongside my day job, earning not one but two post-grad diplomas, plus certifications in group coaching and yin yoga.
That meant:
12 assignments
Over 85,000 words
And countless hours of reading, watching, practicing and reflecting.
The pressure? Real.
The questions? Frequent....."How do you manage work, family, and studies?".
Well, there’s no magic formula. But here’s what worked for me:
Structure Your Time
I found my sweet spot in the early weekend hours—6 to 10am. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was productive.
One Hour Rule
If you’re not feeling it, try for just one hour. If you hit flow, ride the wave. If you’re stuck, step away and reset.
Build Your Support Crew
My WhatsApp groups with course mates were lifelines. Shared struggles, small wins, and a whole lot of moral support.
Done is Better than Perfect
Striving for perfection can paralyse progress. I focused on “good enough” and hit submit—no ‘mum guilt’, no all-nighters, no deadline chaos.
What I sacrificed in lie-ins, I gained in momentum. And now, I’m not just celebrating completion—I'm celebrating mastery. New skills, new tools, and growth that’s already elevating my career.
To anyone wondering if it’s doable?
It's possible. It's manageable. It's worth it.
And when you're done, you'll have more than just a certification….
You'll have proven just how much you're capable of!
